Online Patent Drawing Training
Overview
Desillus Solutions Inc. offers a paid Online Patent Drawing Training Program designed for aspiring patent illustrators and professionals. The program covers patent drawing requirements in accordance with 37 CFR § 1.84 (USPTO), PCT Rule 11 (WIPO), and the Industrial Design Office Practice Manual (CIPO).
Participants will also receive practical, hands-on training in creating standard patent drawings using AutoCAD, with an emphasis on industry best practices and patent office compliance.

With a background in Mechanical Engineering and over 20 years of experience in patent illustration, Dipika Shaw began her journey as a freelance patent illustrator after relocating to Canada in 2017.
That same year, she founded Desillus Solutions, which was incorporated as Desillus Solutions Inc. in January 2021. Since then, the company has grown into a trusted provider of patent drawing services, serving more than 80 clients across the globe.
Driven by a passion for sharing her expertise, she has also developed a specialized Patent Drawing Training Program. The program is designed to help aspiring patent illustrators and professionals create patent office-compliant drawings while avoiding common errors that can lead to objections or rejections during the patent application process.
